Our Business Center held its monthly board meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the State System for Financing Economic Development in the State of Colima (SEFIDEC), Claudia Janet Gutiérrez López, Esq.

During the session, he presented the main financing programs offered by SEFIDEC to support micro, small, and medium-sized businesses in the state, including SEFIDEC Avanza, Mujer Avanza, Microcredit, Impulso NAFIN, and the Agricultural Financing Network, all aimed at strengthening the operations, consolidation, and growth of businesses in Colima.

He also shared the institution’s results for 2025, highlighting that more than 325 million pesos were disbursed to benefit 295 companies, resulting in the creation and preservation of more than 3,800 jobs. Of this amount, 93.9 million pesos were allocated to companies in Manzanillo.

During his remarks, he also emphasized the importance of companies having adequate financial planning, maintaining a good credit history, and properly preparing their documentation to facilitate access to these financing programs.

To conclude the session, our President, Jonathan Torres de la Mora, M.A., expressed his appreciation for the presentation and emphasized the importance of providing companies with financing tools that strengthen their competitiveness and contribute to the economic development of Manzanillo and the state of Colima.
